The Clothes Care Research Center™ (CCRC™) has launched a website at www.fabricology.com to publish its research results and create a clothes care information portal for the industry and consumers.
CCRC is a research alliance that identifies the best in-home cleaning and maintenance techniques for various fabrics. CCRC members represent every phase of home clothing care, from textiles to apparel to appliances to wash chemistries. CCRC members include Cotton Incorporated; GE Consumer and Industrial Products; Milliken & Company; P&G, VF Imagewear. The University of Kentucky’s Textile Testing Laboratory and Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science provide unbiased oversight to design and conduct CCRC’s rigorous scientific testing.
The “Research” section of www.fabricology.com holds CCRC’s white papers and research results so the industry can benefit from its findings. Most of CCRC’s research is focused on emerging technologies, such as performance fabrics and high-efficiency appliances, assuring that the rapid pace of innovation does not create unforeseen interactions.
